Corrections
A correction from Friday's edition
Friday's listing of note said an earlier listing of 170 East End Avenue 10CD asked $8.2 million in January 2024. CityRealty's record shows the $8.2 million ask in January 2024 came after a price reduction, so it was not the unit's original asking price. We've removed the sentence from the online edition. We regret the error.

Yorkville, Remembered
The dance hall on East 86th Street
The Yorkville Casino, at 210 East 86th Street, was built in the first years of the 1900s as a social hall for the neighborhood's German immigrants by the Musical Mutual Protective Union. It held a cabaret, two ballrooms (one two stories high and nearly 200 feet long), a movie theater and a nickelodeon, and it was one of the few places in the city showing German-only films. In 1964 came word that the Casino would be remodeled into an office building with a movie theater downstairs. We haven't confirmed what stands at 210 East 86th Street today.
